Pick up tomorrow in Rijen. Paid 50 euro’s, which is quit nice. The Koala pad was sold in the last 6 months for 75, but in mint condition. The Expansion set as well. Not perfect condition both, but seems complete!

Drove up to Geleen today, that’s almost a two hour drive..Commodore madness. Anyway, seller used to have a lot of Commodore stuff..sold most of it last year, including a silver. Buyer offered 50 euro for that one, just to message the seller the day after that it was probably worth 700 euro. Such nice collectors around here. The three boxes were the last he had (except amiga stuff, msx stuff and other retro he will be selling or is for the keeping).
Unpacked at home. Need to do some testing on the C64, C64c, 1541 drive and the yellowed 1541-II. Sticky and yellowed…mmm, need some cleaning as well.
For the keep for sure 🙂
Sorry W.A.Kuijpers…all your disks belong to us..
Some other interesting stuff (in a way that it’s added to the collection):
The Logo box, Makro assembler and Simon’s basic are german versions.
There is a vicmodem included..tried to find some information on the net, but even cannot find out if it is C64 related.
The other stuff, testing and will be sold. I just keep it in the garage now…my study is overloaded with C64 related items for repair of selling. Mostly the basic items.

Francois was in a hurry to sell his commodores..asked 150 euro but had no photo’s. After three weeks he finally send some pictures. Not quit sure what I am going to get, at least two basic commodore sets with drives, powercartridge and printer. It was, in the end, the box with books and software which intrigued me.
So…I paid 120 euro for a surprise box. Hell, we’ll see today what we’ll get.

Nice set from Marktplaats for 60 euro’s. I got it primarily for that Cat & Korsh cartridge. Some games included and these are a keeper as well. The 64 is working, late 250407 board, but the keyboard is missing a key. Will fix that. A 1541 drive and an Oceanic drive, both working. Some books, disks and two tape drives. Not bad.

It seems that the early Final Cartridge III came with a separate manual, you could cut the box and create a booklet of the manual. Didn’t had this one. Got it from Marktplaats for 20 euro, and a bit expensive, it also included a KCS cartridge in not so good shape 😉 The later manuals of the final cartridge III looked like this.
Awfull slow month due to changing jobs and holidays!

Desperate needed to make room and clean my study, made a start today. Still have a lot to repair and sell. Stuff is piling up and calls for drastic measures! Anyway, first got myself some boxes for the joystick collection and all the game software. After that I made some photo’s of the collection and the man cave….Didn’t take photo’s of everything in the drawers and behind the cupboard doors…

Very slow collecting month! First of all due to the fact I was away for a short holiday on Rhodes. Practiced my mad photosynthesis skills! Was good to get away for a short time, will start with a new job in a few weeks.
Anyway, from Rhodes I noticed a Quickjoy SV-130, infrared joystick. Fun to add to the collection, got mine for 10 euro’s, and collected today upon arrival back home.
Second, the Kickstarter project came in, book, dvd and the top trump cards “The Commodore Story”. Heard different stories about the quality of the book and issues with the DVD, we will see in the next days.
Third, Dion was selling his copy of Roberto Dillon’s book, Ready, A Commodore 64 Perspective. More reading food!

At least a lucky start for the weekend. The boxed C64 is an American made Aldi! Yes, a bit yellowed, but working. The Oceanic drive is working and the box is in good condition.
The C64c is working as well, and there is a very yellowed, but working, 1541-II drive. Some software, two power cartridges, one boxed, and…a very nice Commodore bag.
Will sell the C64C, the 1541 drive, my own non-boxed Oceanic and my not-so-mint Commodore bag on Marktplaats.
Happy with this set, a well spend 110 euro I guess.

Went to visit Marvin in Harlingen yesterday, teaming up with Dion from Leiden which I haven’t seen in a quit a while. Shopping in the retro supermarket, Marvin is operating overthere.
Behaved myself, and just got myself some small stuff…spend about 55 euro.
A book from Rodney Zaks, some manuals I wasn’t sure if I had them already, in mint condition. Two games (The Hobbit & Colossal Adventure), KCS (P002) Speedmon boxed, a Input 64 tape collection and…..a Com-In 64 unit. Was looking for that one, had already the cartridge with the software and the manual, but the i/o board was still missing. Until yesterday.
The Com-In 64 manual and softwars was written hy Rob Maris. He was the one behind the Mac-64 as well, an oscilloscoop and voltage meter for the C64. (See my other posts). Rob probably did the hardware design for the Com-In as well.
Anyway, product made in the Netherlands, 1983 and probably only sold and used over here. The software and i/o board was used for radio communications. Will try to test it later, and make another posting about the Com-In 64.

What has been added last month to my collection, an overview! Spend 940 euro, which made this quit an expensive month.
Highlights:
The missers….
Miscellaneous
A brand new Commodore 64G, green led (the 64G that came with the Video Supergame has a red led). From another collector, aging, and slowly selling his collection. He has bought this one brand new, and stored it. I did a short test, casing is clean and with absolutely no scratches, booklets are new, cabling smells new (omg..do you always smell them..nop, I just noticed that).
