Yep, got the whole set for 210 euro. Agreed with some Marktplaats buddy who was bidding as well that he would buy the C128 . And I get to keep at least the FC II. Happy with this boxed cartridge. Will pick it up next Thursday after work in Maarheeze. My final bid was 175…but then people started bidding again. Since I lost the auction of the FC III boxed…this is my compensation 🙂

Was looking for this one, was sold in large numbers in Germany, what the Final Cartridge and Power cartridge was in Holland, was the Nordic Power over there. Was a quick buy for 30 euro’s from Peter. He sold his Commodore collection a few years back, and came across both cartridges, still in storage. Will probably sell the Expert Cartridge again on Marktplaats and create some new disks for it, based on the available D64 images.
Funny thing was that after I asked what figure he was thinking of, he told met that the cartridge back then costed 150 guilders….I told him that the Commodore back then was 800….and you can get one for 30 euro’s nowadays 🙂

Drove to Amsterdam…took me twice the time as normal in dreadful weather. Oh joy. Went to Sloterdijk trainstation to meet Frank, he is selling his collection as he was moving to a new place..time to get rid of little anymore Commodore stuff. He broke his collection in different items, got myself the Speech Module for 40 euro’s, he never used it. Not quit a mint box, but very nice addition. Second, for 11 euro, the wireless joysticks of the Game Mate 2. And again, without the powersupply. Got two GameMates now…and two missing power units 😉
Since seller and buyer had the same name on Marktplaats, people were bailing out as soon as I started my bidding. Guess they thought that the owner was driving the price up. Sounds like a good buying strategy next time 😉

In January a complete Siel Sound Buggy was on auction. Prices went up to 85 euro….the same buyer was interested which go the boxed final cartridge III. I quickly bailed out on this one.
Saw some reviews on internet about the Siel Sound Buggy, and for the sound and capabilities you would skip this one ;). But boxed and complete, would be a nice addition to the collection.

Was offered on Marktplaats. Boxed, was sold for 50 euro’s I think. Which is conform sales on eBay currently.
Sadly it was incomplete, otherwise I would have offered more. Seems that it should have come with the software and SFX cartridge. Not quit sure how easy it is to get the missing parts, so I skipped.

Feel like a wise man…decided that i should outsource the repair of this delicate board. Contacted someone on Marktplaats, which offered repair services. Discussing repairing right now, he has three other repair jobs which he needs to finish, but he can and is willing to take the KU board up for repairs! First recapping and fixing the trace, and he will look at the oscillator, I think it’s better to remove it, clean up beneath and then reseat it. Hopefully traces are undamaged when the chip is removed.

In January quit some interesting stuff came on Marktplaats, most of it went to the same buyer….which was willing to pay an exceptional price for some of it.
But…i got my second GameMate. First one I bought from Dion, for 10 euro’s since the original power supply was missing. Will put that one back on Marktplaats soon. Offered for this on 12,50 euro.
Second, from the same seller, for 40 euro’s (not sure if it’s a good deal. seems complete, but not quit in a mint condition):

Was offered on Marktplaats. No manual and very neat box, checked with my other Cat & Korsh boxes..the text on the box of all three is in blue. Guess this one is just the cartridge, new box and printed manual? Not sure, but stopped when pricing went over my offer of 27 euro.
Last months two of them were offered on Marktplaats, so there will be a third I guess. Hopefully original and with manual!
